The best subjects are usually already sitting inside the executive's working life.
Useful LinkedIn topics can come from:
- Problems clients repeatedly encounter
- Changes within an industry
- Decisions the executive has made
- Lessons from experience
- Common misconceptions
- Things the executive disagrees with
- Questions colleagues or clients regularly ask
- Behind-the-scenes thinking about how work gets done
The goal is not to turn every event into "content."
It is to notice where professional experience contains something that could genuinely be useful or interesting to somebody else.
This is one reason conversations often work better than staring at a blank content calendar. People frequently have plenty to say when discussing their actual work. They simply do not naturally think of those conversations as potential articles or posts.
