Using AI to help create content does not automatically cause a page to perform badly in search.
The more important question is what the resulting content is like.
AI can be useful for research support, organising information, exploring ideas and assisting with parts of the writing process.
Problems arise when it is used to produce large amounts of generic content with little original value, expertise or editorial oversight.
A technically polished article is not necessarily a useful one.
For businesses, the better question is therefore not simply, "Was AI used?"
It is:
Does this page contain accurate, useful and original information that deserves to exist?
AI is a tool. The quality of the final work still depends on the thinking, source material, judgement and editing behind it.
